Jieldé Gold

The idea
We came across an original special version of the Jieldé lamp; one for an orthopedist. This can also be seen on the type plate on the tube. The disc, the curved arms and the long tube are original. However, the lamp was in such a condition that it could not be restored. That is why we decided to make this lamp what we had wanted to do for a long time; steel with gold accents.
The restoration
Every part of this lamp has been carefully inspected, processed, repaired or replaced. The rods are brushed and lightly polished, all couplings and caps have been sprayed in "pale gold" so that the parts have the greatest possible resemblance to real gold leaf. (two layers of primer, three layers of gold) The inside of the caps are sprayed with three layers of heat-resistant paint and have undergone a heat treatment to harden the paint. The lamp has been fitted with new wiring where necessary and is of course grounded and tested for safety.
Arms
The lamp has two curved rods, which gives this lamp a very unique character compared to the normal Jieldé lamps. Above this you will find a normal coupling and a double coupling. In total, the lamp has five arms with a length of 40 cm.
Caps
The three caps have identical green nameplates.
Switch
The lamp is switched on and off by means of a cord switch or a toggle switch in the lamp. The choice is yours!
Disc
The bottom of the disc (original) has been given four new furniture wheels, making the lamp easy to move.
